This one of a kind model display features seven (7) trains on over 300 feet of track. There are literally over a one-hundred moving parts and incredible details sure to please kids from 2 years old to 102!
The display is situated on a platform in the shape of the state of North Carolina. You'll see the North Carolina coast with it's lighthouses and also see skiers on the North Carolina slopes. This display has been produced through a collaborative effort involving South Hills' merchant Tom's Train Station and their
train service & repair specialist, Len Nieman of The Roundhouse & Backshop;
the South Hills' Merchants Association; and the owner/management of South
Hills Shopping Center. This exhibit is open and FREE to the public, during the hours of 10am-6pm, Monday-Saturday.
